Your Say - My Say

Aromatherapy

I have just started learning about Aromatherapy and am getting into using essential oils and base oils for massages and also for diffusing. I have found some really useful sites out there with some expert help on the internet for using oils and creams.

There are some great Aromatherapy courses online which are free. Have a look at http://www.aromahead.com/courses/online/introduction-to-essential-oils - this is an entry level course but is very useful if you are just starting out in using essential oils. You can also find a list of free Aromatherapy courses online at http://study.com/articles/List_of_Free_Online_Aromatherapy_Courses_and_Classes.html.

I have tried buying essential oils from a number of on-line retailers and have found the best for essential oils to be http://aromatherapy.supplyshop.co.uk - the prices seem to be competitive and although I am relatively new to this the quality of the oils seems good. I have also used http://www.purpleflame.co.uk who have a good stock of oils but the prices are higher.

There are also a number of useful Aromatherapy organisations around that have helpful information for novice and experienced aromatherapists. Have a look at http://www.aromatherapycouncil.org.uk and http://www.aromatherapy-studies.com as well as http://www.a-t-c.org.uk.
